Jack Cooper is a specialist motoring law solicitor with extensive experience representing drivers across England and Wales.
He has defended drivers in every type of motoring offence, including drink and drug driving, speeding, dangerous driving and failing to provide a specimen.
Jack is an experienced court advocate, regularly appearing in the Magistrates’ Courts and preparing complex cases for trial.
John Fairhurst is an experienced motoring law solicitor who has represented hundreds of motorists facing prosecution across England and Wales. He has handled cases from police-station interviews through to trial, working closely with barristers and expert witnesses to develop strong legal strategies.
John also undertakes advocacy in the Magistrates’ Court and is known for his calm, practical approach and clear communication with clients.

The only way to know if a defence is available to you is to review the evidence thoroughly. As this is our area of expertise, we know what to look for when reviewing your case. We cross-reference your account of events with the evidence provided by the prosecution, leaving no stone unturned.
When choosing a solicitor, it is important you understand that firm’s values and how they operate.
With every case, our first thought is whether we can successfully defend the case. When we dig into the evidence, we often find there are many options that could achieve a successful outcome (just see our services page)! However, our first question is always whether we can win the case.
When we go to court, we see thousands of people walking into court and pleading guilty without seeing any of the evidence against them (and having had no legal advice whatsoever). Without seeing the evidence against you, you will never know whether you could have had a defence.
Our view is everyone should see some of the evidence before entering a plea. If your first opportunity to enter a plea is the first hearing, why not have a specialist obtain and review the evidence first?
If it all checks out, we can still enter a guilty plea and still receive a full discount on the sentence. If we find there are errors or the evidence is weak, you may avoid a conviction altogether.
